We recently harvested a bunch of beeswax from our hive. When I say a bunch, I mean 5 pounds maybe, but that could make quite a few bees wax wraps. Bees wax wraps are a sustainable alternative to saran wrap, foil, or plastic bags. My sister used a Japanese Shibori dying technique to dye the clothes before they got coated with wax. Maybe if she makes some future ones we can use our own wax.
