In this video we learn how to inexpensively dry and wet clean vinyl records for optimal playback. In fact, carbon fiber brushes plus rolling rubber tools are perfect to use on the platter before listening. When instead we have a lot of dirt and grit, we need wet solutions and the Knosti disco-antistat is a great solution at a very low cost!
P.S. NEVER USE ANY TYPE ALCOHOL because alcohol literally MELTS vinyl!!
ATTENTION!: People have reported that in the last version of the Disco-Antistat Mixture there actually IS a percentage of ethanol. I do not know if this is also present in the old version (nothing is reported on it). I am sure that this percentage is very low, nevertheless, I think it is better to rinse the records after the treatment with demineralized water in order to remove the possible remains of ethanol, which may be harmful to vinyl after a period of time, or, better, use a different mixture alcohol free.
