On the fifth day of my trip around Iceland, me and my very good friend Ratko, woke up in our car. We spent the night in the middle of nowhere, at the end of the world, next to the northernmost village of Iceland. During our morning in Raufarhofn, we found an artist who invited us to his gallery and gave us water.
Afterwards, we visited Asbyrgi canyon and decided who it was formed. Then, after a bad gravel road, we reached Detifoss, the biggest waterfall I've ever seen! And then we descended to the area of Myvatn lake, in order to be amazed by its miracles. First and most importantly was Hverir, a totally unreal place which cannot be compared with anything on planet earth. It feels like walking on a different planet, with all this sulfur smoke coming out from the earth and the surreal colors of it. Then we visited Grjotagja cave for a bit and ended up for a coffee.
The afternoon found us at a friends house in Reykjahlid, where we had a small gathering, dinner, beers and lots of fun!
Thanks for watching!
