MajorOSC.com is proud to announce a new patch collection, due out in June; SuperWave is an entirely new patch bank for the Novation Summit, and in many ways can also be considered a sort of spiritual successor to the ShockWave collection for the Peak.

Despite the Retrowave -inspired visuals featured in this video, SuperWave is not a genre specific collection. Instead you'll fine a wide variety of contemporary, classic old-school, and futuristic presets. Many of the subtle yet recognizable modulation methods from shockwave can be heard throughout, but don't expect too much of the same. MajorOSC really pushed for some wild new sounds in the process. (And some of the best are yet to be heard!). These are just a handful of single-mode presets. The full collection will have a full bank of Multi's as well, totaling 256 presets!

SuperWave has been designed to take full advantage of the Summits Unique capabilities. And yes, that also includes the recent addition of custom wavetables! Things get even better; SuperWave will come with 10 designated SuperWave-Stock wavetables to be loaded for use with some of the presets in the collection. On top of that, dozens of add-on wavetables will come with the collection for users to swap in and out as they please. Although it is not a requirement to load them, and in some cases, users might enjoy trying out their own wave tables to find even more interesting sounds.

The final collection will be available next month in June.

ShockWave holds a great deal of sentimental value for MajorOSC's creator James High (Aka Major Oscillator). It is the first full patch bank to be commercially released, while also being credited as helping establish MajorOSC as a highly desirable resource for producers and musicians from around the world.
