A fellow Chief Petty Officer is finishing his tour and headed back to the ship. It is tradition to present a gift from the Mess to the Shipmate as he heads out to his next assignment. This Whiskey Cabinet was that gift.
Made from standard S4S Red Oak and Poplar from the Home Depot, using standard joinery like miters, rabbets, and dados, this project took about eight hours to complete. The Simple Finish from Maker Brand really made the natural wood pop!
