TVS Radeon Highlights
TVS recently increased the prices for select variants of the Radeon. While the base variant costs the same at Rs 59,992 (ex-Delhi), the Commuter Bike of the Year drum and disc variants’ prices have gone up by Rs 1,215.
TVS Radeon Price
TVS offers the Radeon in three variants: Base Edition and Commuter Bike of the Year - Drum and Disc. The base variant retails at Rs 59,992, whereas the other two are priced at Rs 66,782 and Rs 69,782, respectively. All prices ex-showroom Odisha
TVS Radeon Features:
The Commuter Bike Of The Year edition gets premium graphics, new rubber tank grips and a rubber pad over the fuel tank. It also gets a couple of segment-first features such as a USB charging port and side-stand indicator with a beeper. Other notable features for both the variants include LED DRLs integrated into the headlight and chrome bezels, a twin-pod instrument console and a single-piece elongated seat, which TVS claims is the longest in its segment.
TVS Radeon Engine:
The TVS Radeon is powered by a BS6-compliant fuel-injected 109.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor that makes 8.19PS at 7,350rpm and 8.7Nm at 4,500rpm. While the power is 0.21PS less than the BS4 variant, the peak torque has remained unchanged and now arrives 500rpm earlier. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox.
TVS Radeon Suspension & Brakes:
The TVS Radeon BS6 uses a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers. Its braking hardware consists of a 130mm front drum (base variant)/240mm front petal disc (Commuter of The Year) paired with a 110mm rear drum with CBS as standard. The 18-inch alloy wheels are wrapped with tubeless Dura Grip tyres.
TVS Radeon Rivals:
The TVS Radeon BS6 rivals the Hero Splendor Plus BS6, Hero Passion Pro, Honda CD 110 Dream and Bajaj Platina 110 H-Gear BS6. For a similar price, you can also choose from the Honda Activa 6G, TVS Jupiter and Hero Destini 125.
