'I am Not a Bajirao' is a stage play written by Kunal Vijaykar. It is an adaptation of an American Play called 'I am Not Rappaport, the play is set in Central park, New York which featured an old Jewish man and an African-American guy, surviving old age in a young man’s world.

The task at hand was to find the two actors for the writer, who’d essay the Maharashtrian and Parsi protagonists.

Boman Irani was 37 then, he was amused when Kunal Vijaykar wanted him to play an 80-years old.
