My mission is to bridge the gap between fashion and technology, creating designs that empower individuals and promote sustainability. I’m passionate about helping others express their personal style while being mindful of the environment and their health. One of the key issues I want to address is the harmful effects of microplastics in the fashion industry. Fast fashion often relies on synthetic fibers like polyester, which shed microplastics into our environment and our bodies. These microplastics can disrupt our endocrine systems, cause neurological problems, and even impact cardiovascular health. This study abroad program will give me the tools to understand how fashion marketing works globally, while exploring sustainable alternatives and innovative designs that can help reduce the environmental impact of the industry.
