I grew up on these pickled cucumbers :)
My mother cooked them every year. Every time I smell this sweet and sour pickles it takes me back to my childhood.
There is nothing better than homemade things from your kitchen. I love everything what we grow and store from the garden. We can use it during the year.
There are no artificial sweeteners in this recipe. This is old recipe from my mum, and she helps me in the video 😊

WHAT WILL YOU NEED:
TBS = tablespoon
Infusion:
36dkg sugar
11dkg salt
3l of water
1l plain vinegar (I use the 8% spirit vinegar)
5 pcs of cloves
1/4 TBS whole pepper
1 TBS thyme
5 pcs bay leaf
1 smaller TBS coriander
1 TBS mustard seeds
1/4 TBS new spices whole
Into the glasses:
fresh carrots
fresh radish
fresh onions
fresh dill
washed cucumbers
Other:
- Big pot
- Pliers for removing still hot glasses from a pot. I got the one from the video years...
- a towel for placing the glasses (It is for your safe. I have experience that the wet jars can slide on your kitchen table)
