Garage door roller replacement instructions. If the wheels on the garage door rollers are bent, wobbly or look crooked on the shaft, then it is time to change out the garage door rollers. Complete instructions on how to change the wheels on a garage door without bending the track.
If you don't feel comfortable bending your garage door track to replace the rollers, you can loosen the bolts on the hinges and swing the hinge. The garage door wheels easily slip out and back into the track. The bottom rollers must be replaced with the door in the open position with the tension on the extension springs released.
