In Jharkhand's Palamu, there have reportedly been intercommunal conflicts related to Maha Shivratri preparations. The region is still hostile, and when authorities arrived there, they were stoned. Following the altercation, Section 144 prohibition orders were reportedly placed in Palamu's Panki town.
According to reports, the fights resulted in at least six injuries. Scenes from the incident showed people throwing stones at one another and damaging two-wheelers parked at the side of the road. The violent mobs reportedly set a couple of homes on fire. It is believed that the violence's epicentre is located around 200 metres from Masjid Chowk in Palamu. Keep watching Times Now.
