What are the basics of Christian discipleship?
This exciting and helpful new series uses three studies to suggest answers by focusing on three aspects of Christian life: who we are, what we do, and how we serve.
• Citizens of Hope: Basics of Christian Identity (4 weeks)
• The Road to Amazing: Basics of Christian Practice (4 weeks)
• Get in the Game: Basics of Christian Service (4 weeks)
The three studies can be covered separately, or they can be done sequentially for complete 12-week course on the basics of living as a follower of Jesus. Each study has been a popular sermon and worship series at First United Methodist Church of Richardson, Texas, where Clayton Oliphant is senior pastor. The series is designed to invoke “holy conversation” within small groups as a way of increasing scriptural knowledge and growth as Jesus’ disciples.
