If you're interested in controlling an external keyboard (like the Nord Stage 3) or a sound module with the M Audio Hammer 88 Pro, this video is for you! The velocity curves are quite different between the two keyboards and I explain the issue/problem as well as demo some sound differences between the two.

I had this same issue when controlling the Nord Stage 3 with my Korg SV-1, so it doesn't seem to be an issue isolated to the Hammer 88 Pro, but most likely something to do with how MIDI translates the velocity curve.
