It’s been awhile since I’ve done a video on Cardano, and there’s been a couple new developments since I have, so I wanted to go ahead and make another video covering what we’ve seen with the coin here recently, and then answer the million dollar question of whether or not Cardano ADA can make you rich from this point in time.
So, as I am making this video, ADA is trading at $1.05 per token, up by an insane 202% in the past year, despite falling over two dollars from it’s all-time high price of $3.09. This along with it’s bright future prospects are causing many people to scoop up the token on the dip.
As for a little bit more background on Cardano ADA, it was founded in 2015 by Ethereum co-founder Charles Hoskinson, there is a supply limit of 45 billion tokens, and this is a proof-of-stake cryptocurrency, working on technological advances that would be groundbreaking in the crypto space, with Cardano’s Alonzo now running smart contracts, the plan is to continue to advance their technological roadmap and generate excitement for ADA as it further differentiates itself from Ethereum.
With upcoming updates coming on the coin to make it a more competitive blockchain technology, some bulls think that here in the short-term, Cardano could reach up to $5 by the end of 2022. There are many people out there who feel that in the long-term, Cardano could possibly reach the $50-$100 range, which if it were to, would be an absolutely insane percent return from this point, and a lot of people would indeed be getting rich from Cardano. It’s also important to note where the price of the coin is right now: we are essentially right at the floor that has been established by the coin over the past year: right at around the dollar mark. This is the 6th ranked crypto in terms of market cap, which is great for keeping it in the publics eye. I would not be surprised AT ALL if we saw Cardano make a bounceback in 2022.
The Cardano community is showing tremendous hope and confidence in these technological advancements, and are some of the more avid hold, or “hodl” members in the crypto space, which can be great on rallies.
As is the case with any cryptocurrency, nothing is a given, and I wouldn’t recommend putting any money into cryptos that you wouldn’t be alright with losing, but the advancements we’ve seen here the past year, and what Cardano is looking to accomplish on their roadmap all seems very encouraging, with everything being built on scientific philosophy and peer-reviewed academic research.
“Rich” can be a vague term, but if Cardano is able to execute on their smart contract goals moving forward, we see cryptocurrency return to a bull run, and it again shows resistance on the dips, this is a token that CAN 4, 5x in price from where we are today even in the short-term, short-term being less than 1 year, if these factors come into play, and excitement stays high.
