Javed Abidi Fellowship on Disability is a three-year immersive leadership development program for youth with disabilities looking to build a career, particularly in Disability Rights and Inclusion with a focus on policy and practice. The fellowship program seeks to give an opportunity to youth with disabilities to delve into and voice issues faced by persons with disabilities at the grassroots with the support of local civil society organizations across India. 25 candidates are selected at the beginning year and the finalized candidates amongst them successfully complete the three-year fellowship. This fellowship aims to bring about a tangible change in the disability sector particularly through data collection research-based policy papers advocacy and media campaigns for policy impact/change.

Centre of Excellence for Persons with Disabilities, a flagship program of the SBI Foundation works toward creating workplace inclusion and equal income opportunities for PwDs. The program introduced training and workshops for Persons with Visual Speech & Hearing Impairment in the BFSI sector. Sensitization programs are conducted by the team with a special focus on teaching reporting authorities to create an inclusive environment at the workplace in public sector banks. They’ve has conducted 29 training programs for 712 employees with disabilities in SBI Public Sector Banks & Regional Rural Banks, six webinars for 168 participants from Public Sector Banks and four sensitization programs for HR officials of the BFSI sector. CoE has impacted 25 000+ lives and is active in 14 States across India
Sinhayana Foundation Below 5cr
Education provides literacy to a child but the aptitude for arts is often overlooked or even neglected. Sinhayana Foundation encourages children to strive their best to come out of poverty and live their life full of passion. The free-of-charge dance-based education program coupled with practical life skills fosters underprivileged children’s ability to become skilled, employable, confident individuals. The programs serve children and youth aged 6 to 22 who are from disadvantaged households and are enrolled in low-income schools. The program has impacted 3000+ youth, and also provided 100+ employment opportunities to youngsters by making them employable through skilled training.
