632 Israeli settlers have stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound protected by Israeli police, Al Jazeera reports, citing the Palestinian News Agency.

The agency quoted local sources as saying that the intruders carried out provocative tours in the courtyard and performed Talmudic rituals, violating the decades-old status quo which only allows Muslim prayer at the holy site.
