The Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 20mm f4 is one of the finest vintage wide angle lenses you can buy - and it's not expensive either!

It has all the usual CZJ qualities - great colour and sharpness, and an incredible minimum focus distance of 15 centimetres! It has ZERO distortion, unlike many wide angle lenses, so it's great for architecture shots or anything that needs distortion-free wide angle images - and it's perfect for film making too!

This copy was a little sorry for itself when I bought it - it had some fungus behind the front element that needed cleaning, and the aperture mechanism was stuck. In this video I clean the front element, give it some much-needed servicing, and shoot it!
