Be careful of this street in the Philippines... the white lady might haunt you. It was during the night when a woman was simply crossing the street called: Balete Drive. Then out of nowhere, a taxi ran over her and killed her. Since then, she haunts those who drive by the street where she died as the so called The White Lady of Balete Drive… always looking for her murderer. This is the story of the famous white lady of Balete drive. Other say that the Filipino white lady was a vengeful spirit looking for her murderer, while others say that the she (the white lady/lady in white) was murdered by her own family, and haunting people to seek help. If you do pass by this road, you might see the white lady sitting in the backseat, beside you or outside your window. Worse, the white lady could appear right in front of your car, tricking you into an accident. Of course, this is only the Filipino urban legend/folklore of the white lady. Whether the white lady is real or not, there are many sightings of her in Balete drive.
