It doesn’t get much better than this! Row 26 on a Delta 717, and a beautiful spring afternoon for flying. First off, I can confidently say that this was one of the most powerful & greatest sounding takeoffs I have ever experienced on a 717/MD-95. I’m so glad that DL plans to keep these incredible workhorses for a few more years. And it is certainly worth mentioning that the interior and exterior of Ship 9554 looked very well kept for its age. All of these factors made for an excellent flight up to Newark NJ on my MCO-ATL-EWR-PBI day-trip.
