BMW E46 / N42: How to Test the VANOS Solenoids (#104)
Summary:
This is a DIY test. The test can confirm that you have a working coil and moving valve plunge inside the VANOS solenoids. This test can prove either that your solenoids are not working or may work/work well.
Tools required:
1. A 12v battery
2. Some wires.
3. A small screwdriver.
