Delicious restaurant-style butter chicken made right at home with simple ingredients. This recipe is exactly how they make butter chicken in restaurants without tandoor — and I've had people tell me it’s actually better! Trust me when I say it’s finger lickin’ good!

Ingredients for BUTTER CHICKEN :

For Marination
600 gms of Chicken
1tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper powder
1tsp Red chilli powder
3 tbsp Curd
1 tbsp besan
1/4 turmeric

For the gravy:
500 gms tomato puree
100 gms roughly cut onions
1 tbsp garlic paste
1/2 tbsp ginger paste
1 tsp garam masala
60-gram butter
100 ml cream
1 tsp Coriander Powder/ cumin Powder


Directions:

Marinate chicken breast in chili powder, turmeric, salt, curd, besan, and black pepper. Let it sit for 20 minutes.

Melt another 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add onions, garlic, and ginger to stir fry them.
After the onions get golden brown color, add tomato sauce and bring to a simmer. add cream as well. Return the chicken to the pot, add another 2 table spoon of butter and let it cook by letting it simmer for another 15 minutes in low heat.

At last, add a generous amount of coriander leaves and additional gram masala to enhance butter chicken's flavor.

Serve garnished with sliced ginger on top. Enjoy!
