Law enforcement officers across PA celebrated the 8th Annual "Be A Fan" Torch Run with a ceremonial kick-off from PNC Park on May 29th. More than 50 law enforcement teams relayed the Flame of Hope over 3-days and 150 miles from Pittsburgh to Penn State University. Law enforcement then lit the Olympic Caldron on May 31st to kick off the 49th Annual Summer Games for more than 2,000 eager athletes.
