In this video, I will tell you about the Dharam Stupa.
Thackeray Stupa is situated at a distance of just 13 kms from Varanasi, India's Uttar Pradesh state.
At present, the Stupa is about 44 meters high, and its diameter is 28 meters, and this stupa is made from brick.
Chaitanya, meaning that the monks were buried here together in a state of sitting
This stupa enjoys great importance. Because, after Gautam Buddha gained knowledge, this was the first sermon for his first five Brahmin disciples.
This stupa was built in the fifth century BC.
And in the year 249 BC, the great Maurya King Ashoka rebuilt this place, so that the Buddhist festival could be celebrated here.
Calcined bone fragments and
To maintain Buddha and other remains of his disciples, this stupa was built by Emperor Ashoka.
There is also an Asoka column here. On which the shape of Emperor Ashoka has been engraved.
