The BMW e39, particularly the M5, is a well-loved modern classic car. They are becoming less available as the years go on, parts are becoming harder to find and cars that are completely restored or entirely original are even rarer. That's where I come in. Every e39 chassis I touch I want to be as close to original perfection as possible. As I approach perfection, every single nut and bolt and wire and accessory must be touched. And this video is no exception.
Often missed and always neglected, is the rechargeable flashlight that BMW hides rather conveniently in the glove compartment. In this video I dismantle the flashlight, replace the worn out battery with a new battery from Germany, clean it all up and put it all back together. Good as new!
