Train 2608 is operating this week from Penn Station to Shinnecock Hills for the US Open Golf Tournament.

Today's Train 2608 is operating with locomotives DM30AC 517 and 510 powering 8 Kawasaki C3 Bilevel Passenger Cars.

For the week of the US Open Train 2608 was set up to make stops at Babylon, Patchogue, and Shinnecock Hills. However, today (and probably again tomorrow Friday) Train 2608 has added stops at Sayville, Mastic-Shirley, and Speonk to help carry the large crowds to the US Open Golf Tournament.
