Semanak is a sticky and sweet food made from wheat germ and flour.
How to prepare Samanak?
1_ Wash the wheat and soak it in water overnight. Then pour into a tray and cover with a cotton cloth. The cloth should always be moist. Let them germinate for 2 to 3 days and grind them before they turn green.
2_ Pour them into a strainer and pour a little water over them and let the wheat juice separate from the wheat bran.
3_Mix wheat juice with flour. The flour should be completely dissolved in the juice and water.
4_ Put the samanak on the gas flame, increase the heat and stir constantly so that it does not settle until it boils.
5_ It takes 12 to 15 hours to be ready.
