Protests over the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examination continue to escalate in Patna. Students attempted to block trains at Patna station, but were foiled by police. Political leaders Prashant Kishore and Pappu Yadav have joined the protests, with Kishore on a fast unto death. The BPSC maintains that irregularities were reported at only one out of 912 exam centres, where a re-examination is scheduled for 4th January.
