In this video, we’ll be showing you how to share files and folders in Google Drive.
Sharing allows someone else to view or edit some files and folders in your Drive. If you share and collaborate with others, we’ll show you how to do it! Let’s share some files and folders.
1. Go to your Google Drive.
2. Right-click a file and hit Get Link.
3. Make sure Anyone with the link is checked and NOT restricted. You can change the permissions here from Viewer to Commenter or Editor if you wish. Copy the link and you can now send it to others.
4. If you have a group or an email list you can also Share with people and groups up here.
5. The process is the same for folders. Keep in mind that anything you put in a shared folder will be shared as well.
You now know how to share files and folders! Remember to make sure that Anyone with the link is checked.
