Red Bull Crashed Ice athletes test the Woodward West Mega Ramp. @northlandr gives a quick track overview showing you the size and scale of the mega ramp.
Taking the Mega Ramp is no joke. Hitting it on inlines (or anything) is quite unnerving for anybody.
How big is the Woodward West Mega Ramp?
The take-off, starting up on the hill near the Lodge at Woodward West, is approx 150 ft. long heading into 3 large options; a 50 ft., 60 ft., or 70 ft. gap jump which goes into the 27 ft tall quarter pipe (25 ft radius and 2 feet of vert)
"During our camp season, the MegaRamp is open twice a week for clinics where campers can roll in onto the quarter pipe and get a feel for the massive ramp.
During the year, the Woodward West MegaRamp is one of the premiere training spots for world class athletes. Woodward West hosts many athletes including Jake Brown, Kevin Robinson, Zach Warden, Vince Byron, Ben Snowden, Tom Schaar, Mitchie Brusco, Trey Wood, Bob Burnquist, Anthony Napolitan, Simon Tabron, Elliot Sloan, Alex Sorgente, Lincoln Ueda, and Coco Zurita."
Hit me up in the comments if you want to get a Mega Ramp Session in.
