NO ONION, NO GARLIC RESTAURANT STYLE SHAHI PANEER RECIPE
Shahi Paneer needs no introduction; it's a dish cherished by all. I'm certain many of us have ordered it countless times while dining out at restaurants.🤭
However, the recipe I'm sharing today is onion and garlic-free, yet still creamy, rich with dry fruits, and tastes just as delicious as the ones you'd find at a restaurant - if not better! 🤤
It's a lovely dish to eat anytime that you want. Pair it up with roti, paratha, your choice of rice and you’re guaranteed to enjoy devouring it.
Recipe:
Ghee 1 tbsp
Cashews 10
Kishmish 1 tbsp
2 red chillies
2 green chillies
2 bay leaves
1 tsp jeera
1 inch cinnamon
1 black cardamom
3 green cardamom
4 cloves
1.5 inch ginger
8-10 black pepper
2 tbsp coriander stem
2 tomatoes
1 tbsp melon seeds
1 tsp salt
Cook the above and then remove the bay leaves and black cardamom and grind to a fine puree using a little water.
Add 1 tbsp of ghee in the kadhai
1 pinch hing
Add in the puree and cook for 5 minutes.
Dhania powder 1 tsp
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala 1/2 tsp
1 cup water
Kasturi methi 1 tep
Fresh cream 2 tbsp
Add the above and cook for another 7-8 minutes.
Paneer 300 gms
Add in the paneer and Cook for 7 more minutes. Garnish with fresh cream and coriander.
