The drive starts at Shigemori, Aira City, and heads to Central Kagoshima City with Mt. Sakurajima over Kagoshima Bay (Kinko Bay). Mt. Sakurajima spewed volcanic ash that morning, so a slight ash accumulation was recorded over Kagoshima city. I found little ash covering my car.
