What can your chewing gum reveal about you? Alex Danis explains a groundbreaking study where researchers delve into the ancient chewing habits of Scandinavian teenagers from over 9,000 years ago!

Through meticulous DNA sequencing, scientists decoded their ancient meals, uncovering a fascinating menu that included trout, hazelnuts, and deer meat. But that's not all – traces of bacteria associated with gum infections were also found, shedding light on oral health in ancient times.
