This recipe is mostly “hands-off”. I found a way to make homemade bone broth with just 5 MINUTES of prep work!!! Then it takes a little patience for the “magic” to happen. Enjoy!!

GUT HEALING EASY and CHEAP BONE BROTH
1.Place animal bones in your crock pot (ideally fill about halfway with bones).
2. Add some fresh vegetables. Some ideas are:
Garlic (2-4 cloves)
Onion (½ of an onion)
Carrot (2 medium carrots)
Celery (2 stalks)
1 bay leaf
The quantities and varieties of vegetables are just suggestions - adjust to your preferences.
This can even be made WITHOUT any vegetables!
3. Next, add 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or lemon juice to the crock pot(this will help draw all of those amazing health benefits out of the bones!).
4. Fill your crockpot the rest of the way with filtered water.
5. Set on low for 24 hours.
6. After 24 hours - turn off heat and let cool for 30 - 60 minutes before handling.
7. Then filter out the bones and pour broth into storage containers. Keep in your refrigerator until ready to use.
