This is a Stair lighting project I designed back in 2013/14 which uses 150 individually addressable RGB LEDs, a 8-Bit Arduino, a Bluetooth Module all controlled from an Android phone.
This same controller was adapted to control LEDs on the arms of a Octacopter. A flying UFO. Video on that coming soon.
