Join us for the final evening of Classical Vauxhall with Nicky Spence, a tenor fast emerging as one of our brightest young classical music stars. Alongside him on stage is Dylan Perez, a pianist a highly sought after recitalist, chamber musician and coach specialising in vocal repertoire.
Performing a selection of their favourite chosen pieces, the evening begins with the poetic beauty of Hugo Wolf’s Ihr Die Allerschönste, before moving through some timeless classics including John Dankworth’s Shall I Compare Thee To A Summer's Day?
In 2020 Nicky won the BBC Music Magazine Vocal Award and Gramophone’s Solo Vocal Award for his critically acclaimed recording of Janáček’s ‘The Diary of One who Disappeared’, and we are delighted that he has been able to join the Classical Vauxhall lineup.
