I rescued an olive tree, well a small olive plant from Aldi last year, it cost me £2.50. It was going to be thrown in the trash. I brought it home, soaked it, repotted it, fed and and pruned it, and it came back to life nicely. But that was last year. Unfortunately, unlike all my other olives it struggled through the winter and seams to have died. So we will give it one last chance. I will prune it right down the trunk until I see life, if i don't see life I will prune it right down to the base. We will then give it one last chance of life over the summer.
