El noi de la mare is a traditional Catalan song with a beautiful and memorable melody. The song was made famous through Andrés Segovia's performances of a solo guitar arrangement by Miguel Llobet. Remarkable French guitarist Elodie Bouny (@elodiebounyguitar) presents a delightful rendition of Llobet's arrangement and provides very useful tips and comments for the learner. A simplified version of this piece with Elodie's arrangement is also available in the Guitar by Masters catalog.
