Video to replace Bank 2 Camshaft Position Sensor: [ Ссылка ]
This video will show you how to replace a camshaft position sensor for the passenger side bank 1 on a Nissan Frontier Pathfinder Xterra Equator or Navaro with a VQ40DE.
Situation My 2005 Nissan Frontier was experiencing instantaneous power loss and jolting from the engine while traveling between 45 and 75 mph. The vehicle would have this occur while maintaining a constant speed. I had previously replaced the driver’s side camshaft position sensor and recognized this as a similar problem. My check engine light was on and Auto Zone read the code as P0340. That was a camshaft position sensor for bank 1 on the passenger side. The part was Nissan OEM “23731-AL61A Camshaft Position Sensor” the part on amazon was $98 from Autozone, but Amazon had if for $81 with free shipping and no tax. I got it from Amazon and replaced this in about 1.5 hours. If I would have had a tutorial it would have taken 30 minutes.
Tools:
10mm 3/8” Drive Socket Wrench, Step Ladder, Foam Padding (to lay on engine block), Needle Nose Pliers

Step 1: Visually locate the sensor on the backside of the engine block. You can see the wiring harness coming out of the back of the sensor and a hex bolt head to the side of the sensor. It is located on the passenger side about ¼ of the way down the block.
Step 2: Unhook hoses and wires to gain access to area. There is one vacuum hose and one wiring harness that block access from the passenger side of the engine compartment.
Step 3: From the driver’s side and using a 10mm socket wrench remove the bolt securing the sensor to the engine block.
Step 4: Remove the sensor and disconnect it from the wiring harness by depressing the grey tab with the needle nose pliers.
Step 5: Replace the old senor with the new and lubricate the O-Ring on the sensor.
Step 6: Replace the sensor into its position inside the engine block and tighten it down snugly
Step 7: Replace any hoses or harnesses that you removed during the process.
