Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says Liberal Party look “unelectable” at the moment following Labor’s win in the by-election in the seat of Aston.
“They look in a worse position - if it’s possible - than when Scott Morrison lost 11 months ago,” Mr Clennell said.
He said the feeling is Peter Dutton is still the “most credible option” as Opposition leader.
“Labor made it a referendum about Peter Dutton – we saw that in their campaign material, and the voters spoke, and they spoke against Peter Dutton,” Mr Clennell said.
“The Libs are in real trouble.”
