I'm switching up the format for this devlog and rather than give you a month-long summary of the changes to the game, we're going to get a bit more detailed and look at a "day in the life of an indie game developer" as I work on Farewell North.

This particular day was a productive one, but not without distraction as life tends to get in the way. I'll show you some more work in Audacity, FMOD and Unity as I record, edit and implement the whistle sound effects for the new sheep herding mechanic from the last devlog. From there we'll add some animations to the human character to help tie the whistle sound effects to her, by animating the whistle in UMotion and applying it as an animation layer atop her existing animations.

Add a few other bug fixes, plant care, coffee breaks, furniture assembly, and time to play fetch with the dogs, and all in all it was a pretty productive day!
