This is so sad on such a happy occasion.
In the first video is Nehorai Gol, the teenage son of Rabbi Boaz Gol who was murdered about a month and a half ago in the terrorist attack in Elad. Today he celebrated his Bar Mitzvah.
He wrote a special and moving song about his father and sang it to the tune of a famous song called "Abba (Father)" by famous Israeli singer Shlomi Shabbat. His younger brother also sang along.
These are the lyrics the boy wrote:
"Dad, I wanted to write words and a song about you, about everything you have done in your life, about your education with love, study and mitzvot, everything was so pure in your eyes. Dad, remember the learning in the Synagogue, the scent of an incoming Shabbat spice, you asked if I was happy, even when I came back late with the smile hidden between your lips. Dad, you went on the road without returning home, you gave your all for the sake of the people of Israel and everything is not always clear, my heart is broken. I know everything is from above. Dad, time passed and I did not suffice, Dad forgive me for telling you everything I always felt, I promise I will not give up praying harder and asking God to protect us all."
The family members sent the song recorded by the bar mitzvah boy to the singer Shlomi Shabbat who responded by sending them a video and said: "Dear Nehorai, I want to congratulate you on reaching the age of observance, it is very exciting that you decided to dedicate my song. I am sure that your Father in heaven hears and stands in prayer before the Creator of the world, that you may grow up in the Torah, the mitzvos, the Chupah and good deeds, Amen." - here is the video of that [ Ссылка ]
I will be honest, I cried while writing this post due to the words Nehorai wrote. Mazal Tov Nehorai. May the memory of Boaz be a blessing.
