(12 Jan 2014) ANGELA MISSONI PRESENTS NEW MENSWEAR COLLECTION AT MILAN FASHION WEEK
Angela Missoni says the new menswear collection she presented at Milan Fashion Week Sunday is inspired by "those young surfers that live in urban contexts in big cities but they escape in the morning early in the morning at sunrise to sit for the perfect wave and then come back to work in the city."
Missoni said she used colors and textures inspired by coastlines. "So you see some blues, greys, greens, pine greens, olive greens"
The designer says she feels that young men today are looking for something with real values and said, "nature is the first of those values," she said.
Missoni says the company is doing well - actually expanding now and opening new boutiques in the Far East and in places like Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
