Parliament's Standing Committee on Intelligence is interviewing ten candidates who've been shortlisted for the position of Inspector General of Intelligence. The contract of the current Inspector General of Intelligence, Setlhomamaru Dintwe, comes to an end next month. Dintwe, Reverend Frank Chikane and eight other candidates have been shortlisted for the position. The Inspector general of intelligence monitors and reviews the operations of the intelligence services which include the State Security Agency, the Defence intelligence and the crime intelligence of the police.
