Mr John Lobor (Secretary General, South Sudan Red Cross) shares his impressions about Diplo's Sustainable Development Diplomacy online course.
Lobor found the course essential for those working in the humanitarian, development, and public sectors because this work is actually measured in terms of how much it contributes to achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs):
◆ The course looks at major global donors, both bilateral and multilateral.
◆ The 'triple nexus' concept ( i.e. combining the humanitarian, development, and peace sectors as one programme) is crucial for sustainable development and achieving the SDGs.
◆ The course covers project monitoring and evaluation, how to locate project gaps, and fix them.
