Capping off the first day of the 42nd Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Louise Araneta Marcos, along with other ASEAN Leaders and their spouses, are treated to a romantic sunset viewing onboard a Phinisi, an Indonesian sailing vessel, while cruising the coastal waters of Bidadari Island in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia on May 10, 2023.
By hosting this year’s ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo for the first time, ASEAN Chair and Indonesian President Joko Widodo hopes that the momentum would help promote the Island as an attractive tourist destination to the world.
