“IT’S LIKE RAPPELLING FROM A CLOUD - 60 METERS INTO AN ABYSS”

That’s how three freeriders describe the experience of a world’s first. Stefan Ager, Andreas Gumpenberger and Fabian Lentsch took a leap of faith and abseiled from a giant airship onto the Valkastiel (2,233 m) in the Austrian Alps.
But that’s just the first highlight of their adventure. The descent is not for the faint of heart.
Apart from a few scratches the ski mountaineers took away one thing above all else - an unforgettable skiing moment in a class of its own.
