Taiyaki is a traditional 'Fish shaped' Japanese sweet food made from pancake like batter with azuki bean paste inside. You can also get many different kinds of flavours inside that are non traditional like; custard, green tea, apple, chocolate, ice cream etc.
I was able to capture this store making some in the heart of Sannomiya, they were using azuki beans and sweet potato fillings.
