This is why sometimes one of us has to give the other a stop and slap moment. Hey you- slap- have a look at that! We had one of those this week at Bonville at Coffs Harbour. With the show, we’ve both been very lucky to play some amazing golf courses – like The Hills and Jack’s Point in Queenstown, NZ. Sanctuary Cove – The Pines on the Gold Coast, Kooindah Waters on the Central Coast and many more. But I have to say that right up there in the true legend arena is Bonville.
This amazing 6,100 meters 18 holer was literally carved out of Australian native trees and rainforest. Every hole feels like a signature hole. It’s so pretty you don’t even need to hit a golf ball.
Being there in winter we almost felt like we had the course to ourselves and staying right here on the course all you want to do is grab a cart and go play it- every daylight minute. And when you have to stop playing- yeah ok, the One Hat restaurant, Flooded Gums isn’t a bad distraction.
