GUMBALL 3000 MEETS LANCIA DELTA
My new (old) Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 1 is finished.. almost.. Just a few final checks from @matarmstrongbmx a.k.a. the maestro of rebuilds to make sure it's ready to be released into the wild. Thanks for the tips Mat and hopefully I've the car justice.
If you don't know the Lancia Delta name, well, this is the car that won 11 yes ELEVEN World Rally Championships - including 5 Driver titles. This little rallying hero was then homologated into a road car form as well as famously into the Sega Rally game we all played back in the day.
There are many like but this one is mine - she's been beautifully restored by the team at Tanc Barratt - Lancia specialists and good eggs. The suspension has been beefed up with fresh joints by Powerflex so it's goodbye to creak and wobble. Shock absorbers by KW reunite the restored chassis with rally-grade road holding and the Tarox brakes providing stopping power to bring it back to earth.
220bhp will become 285bhp once it's run in (and .. the ECU is plugged in LOLZ)
