September 18th 2024.
Was a rough start to the day with nothing going right. I even just miss the train on my way to meet my friend and had to sit for a good 10mins as it passed by.
Top it off my fishfinder wasn't working. Spent a while troubleshooting that and finally gave up.
Once on the water I find myself surrounded by dozens of decent sized black drum. I hook into a few and I just couldn't keep them glues and hook popped off or I didn't get a good enough hook set.....
but.... persistence is key....I keep at it and after the sun was high, i switched over to sight casting reds along the shoreline and was able to land a few nice reds to end the day.
As always an amazing day fishing the Space Coast of Florida with great company. Liven the dream
